CARTRIDGE STOP PLATES, DYNAMIC
The cartridge stop plates, whose function is to adequately block the cartridge, raised by the elevator, work along the movement of the bolt. When the elevator rises, they are tightly closed around the cartridge, while when the bolt is pushed, they open, releasing the cartridge which, consequently, is free to enter into the chamber, in a smooth and fast manner.
MODERN SIGHTING SYSTEMS
The aiming system is composed of a rear sight with a fiber optic insert, adjustable for elevation and windage, associated with a front sight with a fiber insert. However, if you wish to equip the rifle with a scout optic or a modern red dot, the barrel is pre-drilled to mount our Picatinny rail (U228) with integrated rear sight.
SAFETY SYSTEMS
Being the rifle mainly intended for hunting, we have paid particular attention to the safety systems. The mechanical safety on the hammer acts when the hammer is down, blocking the bolt from retracting and consequently making it impossible to open and load the gun. The launched firing pin and the half-cock position allow the rifle to be moved with the cartridge in the chamber without running the risk of involuntary detonations.
THREADED MUZZLE
The barrel is prepared with a 5/8” x 24 UNF thread, so that the rifle can be equipped, at your discretion, with modern compensators, flash hiders and suppressors, if permitted by the Country regulations.
